Does your child see Shatta Wale as a role model? Then, entertainment analyst Whitney Boakye-Mensah says that is a big failure on your part as a parent.
According to her, Shatta Wale should not be described in one bit as a role model because his attitude does not qualify him to be one.
Speaking on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review Show, Whitney Boakye-Mensah stressed that 1Don should not be seen as an inspiration and parents need to work hard to discourage their children from following his footsteps.
“I believe it is time we stopped describing artistes who fight and exhibit bad attitude as role models. Satta Wale is not a role model and that honour should not be placed on him.”
“It is a huge failure on the side of any parent who allows his or her child to see Shatta Wale as a role model and picks inspiration from him,” she told host Kwasi Aboagye in Twi.
Whitney Boakye-Mensah’s comment comes on the back of the recent social media feud that ensued between Shatta Wale and Aisha Modi.
The dust has settled but just like many like-minded Ghanaians, Whitney believes Shatta Wale is certainly not a role model.
