Guru NKZ has released a new track titled “Who Born Dog’ where he artistically massacred Kuami Eugene and Richie Mensah; laying the foundation for a serious beef.
Guru has been in the news in recent days over the refusal of Kuami Eugene to collaborate with him on a song because he apparently disrespected his manager Richie Mensah.
This resulted in some back and forth between Lynz Entertainment, Kuami Eugene and Guru. The collaboration didn’t come on but clearly, there was more to the story than what the ear has heard so far.
Guru has decided to address all these issues by releasing this “Who Born Dog” track in a subtle way to whip Kuami Eugene in line and let the young artiste understand his stand as far as the local music scene is concerned.
The emotionally-fuelled track gave Guru the opportunity to tear into the controversy, explain why Kuami Eugene is still a child and needs to humble himself and learn and also hit his chest about his achievement.
Guru through the “Who Born Dog” track threw some missiles at Kuami Eugene, attacking all the controversies surrounding his family, age and the allegation that he steals songs from others and make them his. Guru also spoke about the mundane uncharismatic dressing style of Kuami Eugene which is a complete put-off.
The “Who Born Dog” track was also an advice to Kuami Eugene to stay humble, respect people who paved the way and understand that nothing lasts forever.
Thye beat, the rap, the punchlines, the diss, all came together to make the track an enjoyable one with Guru paying attention to his rhythms, flow and overall hip-hop vibe.
